USG Assistant Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Radiologist/USG Technician during ultrasound examinations.
- Prepare patients for USG procedures and explain the basic process to them.
- Ensure the ultrasound room is clean, organized, and ready before each examination.
- Assist patients with proper positioning during the procedure.
- Handle and maintain USG-related equipment, accessories, and consumables carefully.
- Assist with patient movement, especially elderly, pregnant, or mobility-challenged patients.
- Maintain proper patient records and ensure reports/forms are correctly managed.
- Follow all hygiene, infection-control, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the front-office and laboratory team for smooth patient flow.
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and skilled conduct throughout the procedure.
- Support the Radiologist/Technician with day-to-day departmental activities.

Preferred candidate profile




- Education: Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2); healthcare/medical-related qualification preferred.
- Prior experience as a USG Assistant, Radiology Assistant, Hospital Assistant, or Diagnostic Centre Assistant will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of ultrasound procedures and patient handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Polite, patient-friendly, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic/healthcare environment.
- Should be responsible, punctual, and attentive to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge will be an advantage.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Candidates residing near Fatepur/Falta/Diamond Harbour Road will be preferred.
