Site Head – Pharma Operations
Full site leadership across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain

The Company
Our client is a pharmaceutical manufacturing organization operating a GMP-compliant production facility in Myanmar, supplying regulated local and regional markets. The business manages multiple dosage forms and is focused on strengthening operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and cost discipline across its manufacturing platform. This is a confidential search to appoint a senior leader to oversee full site operations.

The Position
The Site Head will have end-to-end responsibility for plant operations, covering Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Warehousing, Regulatory Affairs, and Procurement. This role will lead strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure delivery, quality, compliance, and cost targets are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include driving cGMP compliance and inspection readiness (WHO and other regulatory bodies), overseeing solid oral and liquid manufacturing operations, and managing productivity across multiple dosage forms.



The role will also lead capital projects, including equipment finalization, installation, and qualification, with exposure to plant expansion or greenfield activities being highly relevant.

The Site Head will be responsible for workforce planning, leadership development, and performance management across the site, while also improving operational efficiency, managing budgets, controlling costs, and overseeing supply chain and inventory to support both local and export markets.

The Person
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent scientific qualification)
10+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with exposure to site-level leadership
Strong background in solid oral and liquid dosage manufacturing operations
Proven knowledge of cGMP standards and regulatory inspection readiness
Experience managing cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain
Commercially minded leader with solid cost control, execution, and people management capability
