We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Specialist with expertise in Cardiac Anesthesia and post-operative critical care in Cardiac Intensive Observation Units (IOU). The role involves administering anesthesia for cardiac surgeries and managing critically ill post-op patients in cardiac care units.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer general and regional anesthesia for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures (e.g., CABG, valve replacement, aortic dissection, etc.)
- Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, risk assessments, and patient optimization
- Monitor and manage intraoperative hemodynamics, ventilation, and anesthesia depth
- Post-operative care and ICU/IOU monitoring, including ventilator management, pain relief, and sedation
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and nursing teams
- Handle emergency cardiac cases requiring anesthesia or sedation
- Interpret and manage arterial lines, CVP, ABG, and other ICU parameters




- Ensure accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and post-op recovery notes
- Participate in training, clinical audits, and departmental meetings

Key Requirements:

- MBBS with MD/DNB in Anesthesiology
- Registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cardiac anesthesia and/or cardiac ICU
- Proficient in intubation, invasive line insertion, TEE, and intraoperative monitoring
- Solid understanding of cardiac pharmacology and post-op ICU protocols
- Excellent decision-making and crisis management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia or Critical Care (optional but advantageous)
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Experience in NABH-accredited cardiac hospitals or tertiary care units
- Exposure to ECMO, IABP, and advanced ventilator management
