Data Collection Planning & Execution

- Lead end-to-end field data collection operations, ensuring timely and high-quality capture of real-world human activities across diverse environments (supermarkets, retail stores, butcher shops, restaurants, warehouses, offices, public spaces).
- Develop daily collection schedules, location plans, and task assignments for field executives to meet project timelines and dataset coverage requirements.
- Oversee participant recruitment strategies, ensuring informed consent, privacy compliance, and worker safety during video capture.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans for field operations.
- Establish real-time quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity during collection.

Field Team Management

- Manage, coach, and support field executives responsible for capturing first-person (egocentric) and workplace-based video datasets.
- Conduct regular training sessions on camera handling, capture techniques, safety protocols, participant instructions, and quality standards.
- Foster strong relationships with participants and local stakeholders to build trust and ensure smooth collaboration.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and address issues promptly.
- Implement motivational strategies such as recognition programs, clear career paths, and fair compensation schemes.
- Handle conflict resolution and escalate field-level challenges when necessary.

Operational Coordination

- Coordinate with AI data operations teams, client stakeholders, and internal project managers to align collection activities with evolving project requirements.
- Manage logistics, equipment availability,



permissions, and site readiness for successful field operations.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, workplace safety standards, and data protection regulations.
- Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
- Develop contingency plans for technical or logistical disruptions, including equipment failures and connectivity issues.

Participant Engagement & Consent

- Oversee the engagement with workers (butchers, waiters, cleaners, etc.) to explain project objectives and build trust.
- Manage informed consent processes, ensuring participants understand privacy safeguards and data usage.
- Address participant concerns proactively and provide clear communication channels for feedback.

Quality Assurance & Data Integrity

- Implement real-time QA checks during field capture to minimize unusable data.
- Establish audit processes to verify dataset accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design rubrics and validation workflows tailored to egocentric video datasets.

Risk & Compliance Management

- Identify and mitigate risks related to worker safety, privacy, and site operations.
- Ensure adherence to local data protection laws, and ethical standards in wearable-camera projects.
- Maintain incident response protocols and document compliance measures.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Use feedback loops from clients, participants, and field teams to refine processes.
- Document lessons learned and propose improvements for future projects.
