ServiceNow ITSM Developer

Key Responsibilities

Platform & App Development
Design, develop, and support ServiceNow ITSM applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, and Request.
Build and enhance catalog items, record producers, order guides, and workflows.
Develop and customize Service Portal or UI Builder pages, widgets, themes, and reusable components.
Configure Virtual Agent topics, conversation flows, and backend integrations.
Maintain Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and ACLs.

Integrations & Automation
Build integrations using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, scripted APIs, MID Server, and data imports.
Automate platform processes through scripting, orchestration, and workflow optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills
7–10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Robust expertise in ITSM modules, Service Catalog, Request Management, Virtual Agent, and Service Portal/UI Builder.
Proficient in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and HTML/CSS/AngularJS for Service Portal.

Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and API integrations.
