Job Summary:

Responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, handling tax and compliance requirements, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
Prepare BAS, GST, PAYG, and other Australian tax-related reports.
Assist with income tax returns and tax compliance.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant requirements, where applicable.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.




Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and relevant Australian taxation and corporate regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation of financial information.

Requirements:
CA inter/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant Australian accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, PAYG, and taxation requirements.
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Solid Excel skills.
Valuable analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
CA/CPA qualification or progress toward CA/CPA is advantageous
