Job Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor EHS policies, safety procedures, and plant safety standards.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, JSA, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with PPE, PTW, LOTO, work-at-height, confined space, and hot work procedures.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and regular safety training for employees and contractors.
Monitor contractor safety and protected work practices.
Coordinate fire safety, emergency preparedness, mock drills, and emergency response activities.
Inspect firefighting systems, emergency equipment, and other safety equipment.
Maintain EHS records, inspection reports, training records, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
Support ISO 45001 / IMS implementation and audits.
Ensure secure handling, storage, labeling, and use of chemicals.
Ensure compliance with applicable Factories Act, Rules, and EHS statutory requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to strengthen the plant safety culture.
