We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis 1 - Indian Chef to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef in preparing authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Indian dishes according to recipes and standards.
Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
Prepare vegetables, spices, sauces, gravies, and other ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Follow food safety and storage procedures.
Check food quality and presentation before service.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
