Key Responsibilities:
1. **Perform Surgical Procedures**: Conduct a variety of surgeries including emergency and elective procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
2. **Patient Assessment**: Evaluate patient conditions through physical exams and medical history, making informed decisions on the best course of treatment.
3. **Post-Operative Care**: Monitor patients after surgery, addressing complications and providing guidance for recovery to ensure optimal healing.
4. **Collaboration**: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans and improve overall patient outcomes.
5. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, patient assessments, and progress notes to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates should possess a Post Graduate degree in Surgery and ideally have relevant experience of 0-6 years. Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and compassion are essential for this role. Surgeons must have excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with patients and their families as well as with other medical staff.
