We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and hold an or PGDM degree. This full-time position requires the candidate to work from the office.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Financial Reporting:** Prepare accurate financial statements including balance sheets and income statements to provide a clear picture of the company’s financial status.

- **Bookkeeping:** Maintain and update financial records regularly, ensuring all transactions are recorded timely and accurately to support effective financial management.

- **Budget Management:** Assist in preparing budget forecasts and monitor spending to ensure the company stays within financial limits while optimizing resources.

- **Tax Preparation:** Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations to avoid penalties and ensure smooth business operations.

- **Auditing Support:** Collaborate with auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure compliance and accuracy.





**Required Skills and Expectations:**

The candidate must be detail-oriented, possessing robust analytical skills to identify discrepancies in financial data. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is crucial for efficient data management. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role requires interaction with team members and external stakeholders. A strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations is expected to ensure all financial practices are in line with legal standards. Being proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team will contribute to your success in this role.
