Job Description:
Handle Direct Purchase of Raw Materials, Bought-out Parts, Tools and other production-related materials.
Manage Subcontracting activities and ensure timely material availability.
Drive Inventory Control & Management to maintain optimum stock levels.
Handle Vendor Development, vendor evaluation and supplier relationship management.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely material availability as per the production plan.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality and other functions for material planning and procurement.
Should have valuable knowledge of Machining Processes and Machined Components/Products.
Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance.
