Job description:

Performance Test Senior Engineer
JMeter Hands On (35% - Primary Focus)
5+ years of hands-on JMeter experience
Deep expertise in end-to-end JMeter implementation:
Experience with JMeter in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
Proficiency in JMeter scripting and custom development
Performance benchmarking and baseline establishment
Performance Engineering & RCA (30% - Mandatory)
Robust understanding of performance engineering principles and methodologies
Expert-level capability in analyzing and interpreting:
Heap Dumps – memory profiling, garbage collection analysis, memory leaks identification
Thread Dumps – thread state analysis, deadlock detection, thread contention issues
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology and execution
Observability (Dynatrace Preferred) (15% - Mandatory)
Hands-on experience with APM tools; Dynatrace preferred
Dashboard creation and metric visualization
Root cause correlation across systems
Integration with JMeter for correlated performance testing
Coding/Scripting Languages (15% - Mandatory)




Java – custom JMeter samplers, plugins, and framework development
Groovy – JMeter JSR223 sampler scripting and assertions
AI/Automation/Advanced Analytics Exposure (5% - Non-Mandatory, Valuable To Have)
Familiarity with AI/ML models for anomaly detection in performance data
Test automation frameworks (Selenium, REST Assured)
Advanced data analytics and statistical analysis

Requirement Analysis and Documentation-Create technical requirement documents basis the inputs received from clients through discussions and demos.
Creation of test cases-Create test cases basis the functional requirements ensuring test coverage across multiple modules.
Test Data and Workplace Setup-Create data validation scenarios and set up test environment in collaboration with the client stakeholder.
