Perform Manager-level review of complex federal and state tax returns for US Individuals and Trusts (Form 1040 and 1041) prepared by associates, with first-level review conducted by senior associates/Assistant Manager.
Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and apply them to tax returns.
Manage high-net-worth individual clients and large engagements.
Ensure quality assurance for projects handled by the team.
Identify technical issues on engagements and present recommendations to the engagement teams.
Act as the subject matter expert ('Go-To Person') and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Manage engagements and coach the team on technical concepts.
Actively participate in technical forums.
Train team members on high-level technical concepts.
Identify gaps in technical skills, coach, mentor, and help develop the technical skills of team members.
Build and maintain qualified relationships with engagement teams.
Lead the team independently, coaching them on career development.
Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) and liaison with US offices being worked closely with.
