About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented UAE Corporate Tax & VAT Specialist with hands-on experience in UAE tax compliance and filing. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in preparing and filing UAE Corporate Tax returns and VAT returns, along with a strong understanding of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure timely compliance.
- Review accounting records and financial statements to identify tax-related adjustments.
- Perform VAT reconciliations and verify input and output VAT.
- Review transactions for correct VAT treatment, including standard-rated, zero-rated, exempt, and out-of-scope transactions.
- Assist with Corporate Tax calculations,
including taxable income adjustments and applicable deductions/exemptions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of UAE experience in Corporate Tax and VAT compliance.
- Hands-on experience with UAE VAT return preparation and filing.
- Hands-on experience with UAE Corporate Tax return preparation and filing.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with UAE-based clients or an accounting/tax firm.
- Experience with FTA EmaraTax .
