Role Overview
PYP Coordinator to lead the effective implementation and continuous development of the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) . The ideal candidate will be a collaborative instructional leader who can mentor teachers, strengthen inquiry-based learning and ensure alignment with IB standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the implementation of the IB PYP across the primary school.
Guide teachers in inquiry-based, concept-driven and transdisciplinary learning .
Facilitate collaborative planning, curriculum mapping and review of Units of Inquiry.
Support teachers in developing effective assessment strategies and documentation.
Mentor, coach and develop teachers through observations, feedback and professional learning.
Promote student agency, learner profile attributes and international-mindedness .
Monitor curriculum implementation and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Work closely with the Principal and academic leadership team on curriculum and school development.
Coordinate PYP documentation, policies and IB-related requirements.
Support the school during IB authorization, evaluation and programme development processes.
Conduct workshops and orientation sessions for teachers and parents to strengthen understanding of the PYP.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or a relevant discipline .
5–8+ years of teaching experience in an IB PYP school and good experience as a PYP Coordinator.
Prior experience as a PYP Coordinator, PYP Lead or Curriculum Coordinator is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of IB PYP standards, practices and approaches to teaching and learning.
IB PYP workshop/training certification is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in teacher mentoring, curriculum leadership and professional development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills.
