Job Purpose

To manage and supervise the overall operations of the Kanpur plant, ensuring smooth production, productive utilization of manpower and resources, equipment availability, safety, quality, and compliance with applicable environmental and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations
Manage and supervise day-to-day plant operations.
Ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant functioning.
Plan and monitor production activities as per operational requirements.
Ensure optimum utilization of plant machinery, manpower, and other resources.
Monitor production targets, operational efficiency, and process performance.
Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.
Production & Process Management
Plan production schedules and ensure timely completion of production activities.




Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Maintain proper production records and operational reports.
Reduce process losses, wastage, downtime, and operational costs.
Coordinate with other departments for smooth plant operations.
Maintenance
Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure proper functioning of plant machinery and equipment.
Minimize machine breakdowns and unplanned downtime.
Ensure timely maintenance, servicing, and inspection of equipment.
Manpower Management
Supervise plant staff, operators, technicians, and other personnel.
Allocate duties and shifts as per plant requirements.
Monitor employee attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.
Ensure that employees follow company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
Identify manpower requirements and coordinate with HR for recruitment.
