Job Role

To lead, plan, and execute a Greenfield chemical manufacturing project from documentation to commissioning, including team development, engineering oversight, statutory compliance, vendor management, and strategic coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery under the guidance of Project Head.
Project Planning & Documentation (Initial Phase - Ahmedabad):
Drive project feasibility, budgeting, DPRs, and master layout plans.
Review and approve engineering drawings (civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical) in consultation with design agencies.
Liaise with consultants and government bodies to secure statutory approvals (GPCB, PESO, CPCB, DISH, etc.).
Establish detailed project execution plans including resource, cost, and risk strategies.
Execution, Erection & Commissioning (Site Phase - Dahej):
Oversee end-to-end site execution - civil works, mechanical erection, electrical installation,



and utility set-up.
Supervise erection and commissioning of equipment and systems as per layout and technical standards.
Monitor contractor performance, conduct regular site reviews, and ensure adherence to timelines and specifications.
Coordinate with multiple agencies, EPC vendors, and design consultants to resolve issues and maintain progress.
Leadership & Team Development:
Build and lead the entire project execution team across functions - engineering, procurement, construction, safety, and QA/QC.
Define team roles, onboard required talent (internal/external), and ensure clarity of responsibilities.
Develop a culture of ownership, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement at the site.
Mentor junior engineers and managers, enabling succession planning for long-term plant operations.
