Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings as instructed.
Convert hand sketches, PDFs, and site markups into CAD drawings.
Organize and maintain drawing records and revisions.
Assist engineers in preparing layout drawings, details, and as-built drawings.
Learn construction terminology, standards, and drawing interpretation.
Coordinate with the project team for drawing updates.
During Training
Understand BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and item descriptions.
Learn quantity estimation from drawings.
Prepare measurement sheets under supervision.
Assist in preparing RA Bills and client billing documents.
Learn rate analysis and quantity reconciliation.
Support documentation for subcontractor billing.
Maintain project records and progress reports.
Future Responsibilities (Billing Engineer)
Prepare quantity take-offs independently.
Prepare client and subcontractor bills.
Verify executed quantities from site measurements.
Coordinate with site engineers for measurement verification.
Track project quantities and billing status.
Assist in preparing final bills and project documentation.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
Ability to understand technical drawings.
Valuable computer skills (MS Excel and MS Word).
Willingness to learn construction practices and billing procedures.
Solid attention to detail.
Valuable communication and organizational skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Freshers are encouraged to apply.
