Job Title:DevOps Engineer - Software Engineering Excellence

Your role:
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar technologies.
Integrate security scanning, code quality checks, and compliance automation into build and release workflows.
Build automation scripts and developer tooling (Python or similar) to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
Contribute to Code Hub Platform capabilities, including Backstage plugin development, self-service workflows, and AWS-hosted supporting services.
Assist in deploying and operating platform services using Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud-native tools.
Improve observability and reliability of automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand developer needs, collect feedback, and co-create solutions.
Promote clean code practices and craftsmanship principles.
Support InnerSource contribution models and documentation practices

Minimum required Education & experience:




5- 8 years exp inDevOps & CI/CD Skills with Bachelor's Degree / Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology

Minimum required Experience:
DevOps & CI/CD Skills:
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
Understanding of GitHub Actions or equivalent systems.
Ability to troubleshoot pipeline, build, integration, and deployment issues.
Experience integrating automated quality/security checks.

Software Development Skills:
Solid foundation in software development with proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#).
Ability to design and maintain reliable software components or automation tools.
Interest in developer experience and platform tooling.

Preferred Experience:
Cloud Skills:
Foundational understanding of AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred).
Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native concepts.
