This role is to work as part of an engineering consultancy design team in India. A Qualified Architect who supports the technical design of construction projects in a range of sectors including development of the project design, production of presentation drawings and sketches. The Architect also assists in solving design complexities. The Technical Architect is responsible for leading specific aspects of the project and project team to assist in the overall effort of completing the various phases of the project. The Architect reports to the Project Lead, or other more senior team leaders.

Responsibilities

YOUR CURRENT ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED
The role sits within WSP's digital innovation team who are working on a range of
groundbreaking projects using recent solutions to transform the designing and making
of buildings
The role involves working on an exciting range of Design for Manufacturing and
Assembly (DfMA) projects defining new solutions around platform approaches across
a number of sectors




The successful candidate will help contribute to subassembly strategies including
libraries of subassemblies, using construction and manufacturing software such as
Revit and Inventor, working in conjunction with our client's and their supply chain
partners.
The role requires collaborating with a broad range of WSP engineers and specialists
including the MMC and sustainability teams

YOUR TEAM
You will be part of the digital innovation team focused on delivering next generation
solutions to clients
You will work on projects geared to DfMA at a programme level where PLM's and
configurators will be used to manage content
