Job Purpose:
Responsible for the complete mechanical maintenance activities during the assigned shift, ensuring continuous and trouble-free operation of production lines, immediate attendance to breakdowns, and minimization of machine downtime. This role also involves coordination with production for planned maintenance and machine stoppages.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Maintenance Management:
Manage all mechanical maintenance activities during the assigned shift.
Ensure continuous and trouble-free operation of production lines.
Attend breakdowns immediately and minimize machine downtime.
Coordinate with production for planned maintenance and machine stoppages.
Chocolate Plant Equipment Maintenance:
Responsible for the maintenance of the following equipment:
Chocolate melting tanks and holding tanks
Refiners and conches
Chocolate pumps and pipelines
Tempering machines
Enrobers and cooling tunnels
Wafer ovens and wafer handling systems
Chocolate enrobes lines and cutters
Conveyors and cooling systems
Packing and secondary packing equipment
Pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems
Compressors, chillers and AHUs from the mechanical-maintenance perspective
Breakdown Maintenance:
Troubleshoot mechanical failures quickly.
Identify root causes of repeated breakdowns.
Maintain breakdown history and prepare corrective-action reports.
Ensure critical spare parts are available.
