The Preschool Coordinator oversees the daily operations and educational programming of the preschool. This position ensures a secure, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate setting that supports the learning and growth of children aged 2 to 5 years. The coordinator supervises preschool staff, manages curriculum implementation, liaises with parents, and ensures compliance with licensing and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor preschool curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards.
Supervise and support preschool teachers and assistants, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain licensing requirements and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Create a positive and inclusive environment for children, staff, and families.
Plan and oversee parent communication, including newsletters, meetings, and conferences.
Monitor and assess child development and learning outcomes, maintaining records and coordinating interventions if needed.
Manage enrollment, admissions,



and transitions in collaboration with administrative staff.
Organize professional development and training opportunities for preschool staff.
Coordinate special events, celebrations, and school programs related to early childhood education.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of state licensing regulations and early childhood curriculum standards.
Solid leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with special education or inclusive classrooms.
Familiarity with curriculum models like Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or Creative Curriculum.
