About the Role
We are inviting applications from distinguished industry professionals, technology leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and practitioners with proven expertise in respective domains to join as a Professor of Practice .

Eligibility
Professor of Practice
Ph.D. + 10 years; or Master’s + 15 years; or B.Tech. + 17 years in an eligible/reputed organisation;
or
Ph.D./Master’s/B.Tech. with at least 5 patents + 5 years’ start-up experience
Associate Professor of Practice
Ph.D. + 5 years; or Master’s + 10 years; or B.Tech. + 12 years;
or
Ph.D./Master’s/B.Tech. with at least 5 patents + 3 years’ start-up experience
Assistant Professor of Practice
Master’s + 5 years; or B.Tech. + 7 years;
or
Ph.D./Master’s/B.Tech. with at least 3 patents + 3 years’ start-up experience
Professionals with significant experience in the industry, product development, consulting, research and development, transformation, or entrepreneurship in respective domains are encouraged to apply.
Formal academic qualification is not mandatory where the candidate demonstrates exemplary professional practice, in accordance with UGC guidelines.
Research publications or Ph.D. are not mandatory for eligibility as Professor of Practice.
The position is not open to persons in the teaching profession, serving or retired , as per UGC guidelines.




Proven record of professional excellence, leadership, innovation, or significant contribution in respective domains.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and design of industry-oriented courses and curriculum in respective domains.
Introduce contemporary technologies, tools, platforms, applications, and industry practices into academic delivery.
Deliver expert lectures, special sessions, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and hands-on training programmes.
Mentor students in projects, innovation, entrepreneurship, internships, and industry-oriented initiatives.
Guide students in real-world applications including Generative AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI automation, and intelligent systems.
Strengthen industry-academia collaboration through industry projects, live assignments, internships, and professional interactions.
Collaborate with regular faculty members on joint research projects, consultancy, innovation, and technology initiatives.
Contribute to institutional capacity building through emerging technology awareness and professional development programmes.
