Role Description The Senior Interior Designer at Blum experience centre is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. The role involves leading the end-to-end design process, including client consultations, needs assessment, concept development, and presentation of design proposals. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed interior layouts, coordinating space planning and material selection, developing construction and joinery drawings, and specifying FF&E; in line with brand standards. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed accurately, monitor project progress, and resolve design-related issues on site.



This role also includes mentoring junior designers, maintaining design documentation, and contributing to showroom display concepts and design guidelines.
Qualifications

Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills with experience in residential and/or commercial projects.
Proficiency in Space Planning and ability to create functional, ergonomic layouts.
Ability to develop accurate Construction Drawings and technical details for execution.
Experience with FF&E; selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Advanced proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
Proven experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
Experience in premium or modular kitchen and wardrobe design is an advantage.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work on-site with vendors and contractors.
