Job Description:

Summary:
The incumbent will be leading the Sourcing [Supply chain] function with the primary responsibility of formulating a sourcing strategy, developing vendors and contract manufacturers, managing the procurement process and optimizing cost & efficiency.
Experience: Extensive experience in leading the Installation & Commissioning of Mechanical/Electrical projects in the Agri/Food industry, including operation & maintenance.
Skills: Combination of engineering, commercial skills and leadership skills to deliver high-quality projects and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the customer life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing strategy: Formulate sourcing strategy basis market assessment, business needs, profit contribution, suppliers’ bargaining power etc.
Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers (Project engineers and Fabricators] for various components. Ensure a robust supplier base to meet project needs.
Purchasing Management:



Handle all aspects of the procurement process, including issuing RFQs, evaluating quotations, creating and managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of components.
Negotiation: Leverage solid negotiation skills to secure favourable commercials, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers and vendors.
Cost Optimization: Investigate and implement low-cost alternatives while maintaining product quality. Continuously seek prospects for cost savings and process improvements.
Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with contract manufacturers. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and oversee performance metrics.
Vendor Relationship Management: Foster solid relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains and resolve any issues that may arise. Perform vendor assessment and optimize the vendor portfolio regularly.
