Description
Coordinate purchase orders, material requirements, deliveries, and supplier follow-ups.
Track inventory levels and support replenishment planning to prevent stock-outs or excess inventory.
Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, delivery schedules, and logistics performance.
Liaise with vendors, freight partners, warehouse teams, production, sales, and finance teams.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, inventory movements, shipment status, and supplier documentation.
Support vendor evaluation based on cost, quality, lead time, service levels, and compliance.
Assist in demand planning, material planning, and production scheduling activities.
Investigate supply, delivery, inventory, or invoice discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.
Prepare regular MIS reports on inventory, procurement, delivery performance, pending orders, and supply-chain KPIs.
Ensure adherence to company processes, statutory requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve supply-chain efficiency, reduce costs,
and enhance service levels.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, FMCG, retail, or industrial settings is preferred.
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and reporting.
Familiarity with Pune-region supplier, transport, and industrial ecosystems is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
