Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
3D Modeling & Drafting: Design detailed parts, sub-assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings with exact dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.;
Manufacturability & Design Optimization: Ensure designs can be easily manufactured (e.g., sheet metal, welding, machining) and are cost-effective.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to resolve design conflicts and support prototyping.
Documentation & BOM Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, engineering change records (ECR/ECO), and generate Bills of Materials.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or an equivalent technical diploma).
Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks. Familiarity with module-specific tools like Sheet Metal, Weldments, and AutoCAD is highly valued.
Experience: Typically ranges from 1 to 5+ years of hands-on mechanical design and CAD experience.
