Senior Manufacturing Engineer

POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer shall support the business in areas of current product development; process improvement; daily product support; project manage key programs; technical authority in metal processes; analyze and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, etc.) and create shop routings, operations sheets, tools, and other necessary processes and equipment to produce a high-quality product.

Principal Activities

RFQ costing preparation for Current Projects & NPD Products

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and production systems.

Develop and maintain manufacturing process mapping, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and production readiness.





Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve manufacturing performance.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to achieve operational goals.

Programs CNC machines to effectively and efficiently product desired product.

Analyse and resolve Production tooling related issues

Create new or modify existing manufacturing drawings used CAD methodology.

Value engineer existing products and processes to reduce cost, lead time and cycle times.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

~12+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in an high precision manufacturing environment with high mix/low to mid volume product rates. demonstrating robust expertise in process engineering, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

~ Knowledge of Tool Design (Jigs & Fixtures, Tools and Gauges) and Developments

~ Extension machining background with hands-on expertise in CNC, VMC, VTL process su
