Aptean is looking for a proactive and skilled Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our product development, from understanding requirements and architectural design to coding, debugging, and deployment. We're seeking someone with a robust background in AI Agent development, robust coding practices, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, secure, and performant features within an Agile workplace. You'll also play a role in guiding junior team members and driving critical customer issues to resolution.
Scope
Knowledge: Expertise in AI Agent development and deployment, C#.NET, SQL Server, AWS (S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB), HTML, CSS, APIs, Sencha/Angular/React framework, Office Web Add-ins, and Web Application Architecture.
Complexity: Expert level (8+ years of experience).
Supervision: Yes (has to supervise team, specifically 2 full-line reports in R&D;).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate working knowledge of creating AI Agents from development through deployment .




Take ownership of development activities and drive results towards end-to-end delivery.
Exhibit excellent debugging and analytical skills , and guide the team in these areas.
Possess knowledge of troubleshooting, performance, deployment, and debugging using analyzing tools.
Closely work with Support Team and Tech Hub Team to resolve issues.
Perform Performance and Security Testing .
Own critical customer issues and drive them through to resolution.
Write secure, reusable, effective code with high standards , and enforce the same through code reviews.
Work with the Product Owner, Product Manager, Architect, and other leads to review project/feature specifications .
Collaborate with the Architect and other leads to architecturally design and deliver high quality, secure, and performant features .
Participate in all phases of the lifecycle from understanding requirements through development and finally to any post
