Your Role:
As a Gensler Technical Designer, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with a focus on project delivery and an understanding of how to produce functionally beautiful designs for our clients. You will help drive delivery of a project, collaborate with office and regional technical leaders and develop delivery and process improvement strategy. You have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture or design, and a portfolio of cutting-edge project work.
What You Will Do:
Work with the Design Director(s) and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production.
Perform technical design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation.
Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI s during construction.
Manage client, team and project communication and coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural,



MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants.
Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, plans, elevations, details and sections through to detailed construction drawings.
Resolve complex design issues with cutting-edge and practical solutions.
Support project sustainability targets throughout project phases and actively engage in delivering them. Coordinate sustainability targets with project consultants and engineers.
Implement sustainable design strategies in every project stage and investigate solutions to sustainable design challenges.
Work collaboratively with the team to optimize sustainability performance through design iterations and research.
Lead climate focused analysis and studies for each project.
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

Your Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Interiors or Design preferred.
