Role Details
Position Title: Pricing Executive / Senior Executive – Ocean Freight
Department: Procurement & Pricing / Ocean Freight Operations
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Reporting To: Manager – Pricing & Procurement / Branch Head
Key Responsibilities
Rate Procurement & Carrier Management
Negotiate and procure competitive Ocean Freight rates (Export/Import, FCL & LCL) from Main Line Operators (MLOs), NVOCCs, and co-loaders.
Build and maintain direct relationships with shipping lines and ocean carriers in the South India region.
Track market dynamics, rate trends, fuel surcharges (BAF/CAF), and GRI (General Rate Increases) to optimize buy rates.
Secure container space, equipment, and detention-free periods, especially during peak seasons.
Quotations & Sales Support
Respond promptly to day-to-day rate requests and RFQs (Request for Quotations) from internal sales, key
