The impact you will have in this role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation,



configuration, maintenance, and optimization of WebSphere and Liberty, as well as playing a backup role for the other technologies supported by the Mainframe Strategic Engineering team. You will collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure a stable and high-performing WebSphere environment. You will also be asked to evaluate and perform Proof-of-Concepts for strategic product candidates.
What You'll Do:
Perform Lifecycle Management for Mainframe Strategic Engineering products
Work with the customers/end-users to solve issues and assist with process automation
Manage the vendor relationships for the products that we apply
Monitor the status of tickets we have open with the vendor and handle critical issues as required
Responsible for Incident, Problem, and Change Management for all Mainframe Strategic Engineering products
