About Neurogent
Neurogent is an AI-native product and engineering partner for the insurance industry and enterprise clients. This role sits on one of our enterprise delivery engagements: a large-scale, multi-brand website platform (10+ brands, shared micro-services architecture) for a major US client, running on ASP.NET MVC 5 with a Sitefinity CMS backend.

The role
You'll join an augmented delivery team building and maintaining features on a multisite website platform serving 10+ consumer-facing brands and shared services. The platform is built on .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC 5, and jQuery on the front end, with a decoupled Sitefinity CMS backend exposed via REST API — you don't need prior Sitefinity experience, but you do need to be genuinely strong in ASP.NET MVC, C#, and consuming REST APIs into server-rendered views, since that's exactly the pattern this platform uses.

What you'll do




Build and extend ASP.NET MVC 5 (.NET Framework 4.6.1) front-end applications and jQuery-based UI, consuming content from a REST API-based CMS backend
Work with a RESTful CMS API (.NET Framework 4.8) and a shared Marketing API (.NET Standard 2.0, Entity Framework 6.0)
Design, query, and optimize SQL Server schemas
Deploy through Azure DevOps Pipelines/Repos across Dev → QA → Test → Stage → Prod on Azure-hosted infrastructure
Ramp up on Sitefinity CMS specifics (widget model, multisite configuration, content API) with support from the client's senior architect
Work directly with the client's Product Owner and Sr. Architect, plus Neurogent's PM/SM and QA

What we're looking for
3+ years skilled .NET development (C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework 4.x) — this needs to be real depth, not framework-adjacent experience
Solid SQL Server: schema design, query tuning, Entity Framework
Experience consuming REST APIs into server-rend
