Key Deliverables:
Ensure the optimal health, availability, performance, and security of all databases.
Provide hands-on expertise for database design, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and other NoSQL solutions.
Automate routine database administration tasks and implement monitoring/alerting solutions.
Implement, administer, and maintain backup and recovery procedures for databases.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data categorization, security standards, and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality data availability and database updates.
Provide day-to-day support to IT support groups, partners, and customers as required.
Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and manage database software updates and patches.
