Job Description

Responsibilities:

The GM – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing the complete finance and accounts function of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role will oversee financial accounting, consolidation, taxation, corporate finance, forex risk management, and support strategic financial decision-making across Indian and international operations.

A. Financial Accounting & Finalization
Handle complete accounts independently, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
Finalize standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and IFRS
Manage consolidation of Indian and foreign subsidiaries, including step-down subsidiaries
Ensure accurate accounting, disclosures, and reporting as per statutory requirements

B. Audit & Compliance
Lead statutory, internal, tax,



cost, and other audits
Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, RBI, and other applicable laws
Support compliance requirements for listed entities

C. Taxation
Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, GST, transfer pricing, and international taxation
Ensure timely filing of returns, assessments, and resolution of tax matters
Liaise with tax consultants and authorities as required

D. Corporate Finance & Treasury
Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund utilization
Support fundraising activities, if required (term loans, working capital, etc.)
Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting
Monitor and manage forex exposure and hedging strategies

E. Costing & Inventory Accounting
Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and margin
