CSA – Middle English Teacher (Cambridge)
Purpose of Role
To deliver engaging and skill-based English instruction aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum, developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while fostering critical thinking and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
Teach English to Cambridge Lower Secondary students (Stage 6–9).
Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Cambridge learning objectives and frameworks.
Develop students’ skills in: Reading comprehension and analysis, Creative and academic writing, Grammar, vocabulary, and language usage; and Speaking and listening skills
Encourage literary appreciation, discussion, and independent thinking.
Ensure timely completion of syllabus.
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct formative and summative assessments as per Cambridge standards.
Evaluate assignments, projects, and practical work with constructive feedback.
Maintain student progress records and documentation.
Provide remedial and enrichment support where required.
