Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or relevant discipline – Mandatory
Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety / Construction Safety from a recognized institute preferred
Experience
12 – 18+ years of experience in Workplace, Health & Safety (EHS) in large construction or infrastructure projects, preferably high-rise building construction

Role Overview
The Senior Manager – EHS will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Workplace, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and practices across construction site. The role involves ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing workplace hazards and incidents.
The candidate will lead site safety teams, coordinate with project management and contractors, and ensure all construction activities are carried out safely and in compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
EHS Strategy & Implementation
Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and safety management systems across project sites.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards.
Promote a robust safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and workers.
Site Safety Management
Monitor safety practices across construction activities including structural work, formwork, reinforcement, finishing, and MEP installations.
Ensure implementation of protected work procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
Conduct periodic site safety inspections and audits.
Hazard Identification & Risk Management
Identify potential workplace hazards and safety risks across project activities.
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize accidents and unsafe conditions.
Review and approve Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments.
