Job Description – Senior Purchase Executive
Location: Noida
Industry: Imitation Jewellery / Fashion Jewellery (Brass) / Fashion Bags
Role Overview
Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials and semi-finished goods for imitation and fashion jewellery production.
Ensure timely sourcing, cost control, quality compliance, and vendor coordination.
Support smooth production and retail supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Raw Material & Semi-Finished Goods Procurement
Handle procurement of materials related to:
Brass jewellery components
Stones, beads, chains, findings, clasps
Semi-finished jewellery parts
Fashion bag materials and accessories
Ensure materials meet design, quality, and cost specifications.
Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors specific to imitation and fashion jewellery.
Maintain vendor master data and price lists.
Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules, and MOQs.
Purchase Planning & Coordination
Plan purchases based on production plans, design requirements,



and inventory levels.
Coordinate with design, production, and inventory teams for material requirements.
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
Purchase Order & Documentation
Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) as per company SOPs.
Ensure proper documentation including invoices, delivery challans, and GRNs.
Coordinate with accounts team for invoice verification and payment processing.
Quality & Cost Control
Ensure quality checks of received materials in coordination with production/QC teams.
Monitor material cost trends and suggest cost-saving prospects.
Handle material rejections, replacements, and vendor claims.
Inventory & Stock Coordination
Monitor raw material and semi-finished goods inventory levels.
Avoid over-stocking and stock-outs through effective purchase planning.
Support stock verification and reconciliation processes.
