Responsibilities:
Design and create new furniture concepts that align with our brand's aesthetic and target market
Conduct research on market trends materials and manufacturing techniques to inform design decisions
Develop detailed design specifications including dimensions materials and finishes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the successful realization of designs
Create 3D models sketches and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas
Evaluate prototypes and samples to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed
Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends materials and manufacturing technologies
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design Industrial Design or a related field
Proven experience as a furniture designer with a robust portfolio showcasing your design abilities
Proficient in 3D modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD SketchUp Rhino)
Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials
Strong creativity and ability to think outside the box when developing design concepts
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Robust communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
