Role Overview
The Relationship Management skilled in Merchant Banking/Wealth Management is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing financial products and services tailored to institutional clients, including banks, asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, and development finance institutions (DFIs). This role involves strategic relationship management, market analysis, and the delivery of customized financial solutions to meet the unique needs of institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and develop relationships with institutional clients to create new business prospects and deepen existing relationships in Merchant Banking and Wealth Management.
Product Structuring & Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute financial products such as Main Board IPOs, SME IPOs, PMS, AIFs, Mutual Funds, Bonds, NCDs and Fixed Deposits instruments, tailored to client needs.
Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
Monitor market trends and economic developments to provide clients with informed insights and strategic advice.
Transaction Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of transactions, including negotiation, documentation, and execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Merchant Banking, Wealth Management, legal, operations, and compliance teams to deliver seamless solutions to clients.
Revenue Generation & Performance Tracking: Contribute to the profitability of the institution by effectively managing a portfolio of institutional clients for Merchant Banking and Wealth.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or qualified certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is advantageous.
