Reporting To: Sr. Vice President and Head of IT
Location: Mumbai, India

Purpose of the position:

The candidate would play a key role in IT leadership team of the organization and would have the chance to contribute in every facet of IT management. Since the role is in the IT Department of a user organization, it offers an excellent prospect for the right candidate to build/enhance knowledge & skills across domain as well as technical areas like application software lifecycle, IT infrastructure, information/cyber security, BCP/DR as well as other significant functions such as governance, risk and compliance for the IT Department.
The core responsibilities of the candidate would be in Application Software Development/ Maintenance, Operational and Production Support for a portfolio of applications, which in turn entails the supervision of in-house teams as well vendor teams. The portfolio of applications would include critical Trading and Settlement Systems,



as well as other applications within the application landscape.
The candidate would be required to engage with business units and manage the deliveries in the most optimum manner from quality, time & cost perspective. Thus sound technical capabilities in application development lifecycle coupled with domain knowledge in the areas of Trading / Risk Management / Settlement Systems would be highly desirable. Given that the position is part of IT leadership team, it is expected that the candidate will shoulder wider responsibilities, for which the candidate needs to possess knowledge & experience in areas such IT governance, IT infrastructure, Information/Cyber security, BCP/DR process etc
