Experience - 10 yrs to 15 yrs (Preferable Steel plant experience)
Qualification - Bachelor in Agriculture (Regular Course)
A Horticulture Officer is responsible for managing and promoting the cultivation of plants, including fruits, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants. Key duties include planning and implementing horticultural activities, providing technical guidance to farmers, overseeing pest and disease control, and ensuring the quality of produce. The officer also coordinates with research institutions, manages budgets, and promotes sustainable farming practices. Solid knowledge of plant science, soil management, and pest control is essential, along with valuable communication and project management skills to effectively support and educate growers in enhancing agricultural productivity.
