We have been retained by a leading company in the machine manufacturing sector to identify a candidate for the position of Head Accounts & Taxation. The company is listed on the NSE and is on an ambitious growth path.

The candidate will be responsible for the overall accounts function of the company and finalization of the Balance Sheet.

The position reports to CFO with a dotted line reporting to MD.

Accounting
Managing day to day corporate accounting
Finalization of Trial balance and other reports on monthly basis.
Over all control of accounts payable management (Payment to vendors and Balance confirmation, vendor reconciliation, monitoring of Bank guarantees, advances, retention money and input tax credit.
Finalization of Trial balance and other MIS Reports on monthly basis.
Preparing financial statements
Scrutinizing the account ledgers and assure that all the expense bills / vouchers should be accounted properly with proper statutory deductions.
Verification and payment of expense bills at all levels, either to companys staff or outsiders i.e. suppliers,



specialists, service renders, etc
Formulation of Annual Budget and Monthly Budget
Reporting to CFO about all the key functional areas on daily basis.

Audit
Prepare effective auditing plans
Execute group internal audit and special investigations, compliance with policies and rules
Streamlining Internal audits systems and setting up internal control systems & procedures.
Dealing with Internal and External Auditors
Manging overall Inventory
Liaison with auditors for timely completion of Audit.

Taxation

Direct and Indirect Taxation
Direct tax processes and compliance, including corporate tax, transfer pricing
Indirect taxes (GST) and filing of returns for completion of assessment and ensuring statutory compliance.
Calculation of advance tax liability and deposit the same.
Calculation of GST and deposit the same.
Prepare Income tax, GST and T.D.S. Returns.
