Role Purpose:

Responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving the drawings and BBS produced by production detailers, ensuring 100% compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Review all rebar shop drawings and BBS prepared by the production team.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BS, EC2, and UK standards.
Check reinforcement quantities, laps, curtailments, and dimensions thoroughly.
Identify and correct discrepancies in drawings before client submission.
Conduct quality audits on detailing output to ensure high standards are maintained.
Coordinate with clients/consultants for approvals and technical clarifications.
Mentor junior detailers and provide training on complex detailing requirements.
Act as the technical authority for Europe/UK standard compliance.

Requirements:
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.




6 – 12 years of experience in rebar detailing, including QC/Checking role.
Proven expertise in European & UK Rebar Detailing Standards.
Solid proficiency in CADS RC / AutoCAD / Rebar CAD.
Excellent knowledge of rebar codes, specifications, and reinforcement practices.
Valuable communication skills for client interaction and internal team coordination.
Ability to handle multiple projects and ensure zero-error deliverables.

Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of RC detailing codes (BS 8666, Eurocode 2, BS 8110, etc.).
Solid visualization skills to interpret structural drawings.
Good problem-solving and technical issue-resolution ability.
Strong teamwork and mentoring skills.
