Job Description:

Position: Officer/Executive - Design & Development

Location: Dabhel - Daman

Experience: 2 - 3 Years

Industries: Pharma

Responsibilities:
Design & Drafting
Create and revise 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and SolidWorks.
Develop detailed engineering drawings for pharmaceutical equipment, piping layouts, utility systems, and plant infrastructure.
Design customized components and assemblies as per process requirements and GMP norms.
Equipment & Facility Development
Collaborate with process, production, and maintenance teams to understand equipment needs and translate them into workable designs.
Support the modification and upgradation of existing equipment and layouts for capacity enhancement or process improvement.
Assist in recent equipment development and pilot plant setup.
Project Coordination
Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for the development and fabrication of designed equipment.
Review and validate mechanical drawings and designs to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.




Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all design work complies with relevant GMP, FDA, WHO, and engineering standards.
Maintain accurate design documentation, drawing archives, and design change control records.
Innovation & Value Engineering
Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and functionality.
Evaluate and recommend design improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and SolidWorks
Valuable understanding of pharma manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts
Knowledge of GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements
Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Required Qualification:- B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical

Salary :- Upto 6.00 LPA
