Role Summary
The CAE Engineering Applications Specialist supports engineering calculation, FEED, and technical data applications used in plant engineering and early project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support COMOS MyFEED and COMOS WIE
Manage engineering calculations and specifications using Licad
Support electrical/system engineering using eC-SiAr
Manage technical content creation using GCD Creator
Maintain valve and equipment selection logic using Valve Selection List
Support FEED and basic engineering teams with validated engineering data
Admin Responsibilities (Significant Update)
Perform COMOS (Cosmos) system administration activities, including configuration, workplace setup, and system maintenance
Manage user access, roles, and permissions (RBAC) across COMOS applications (MyFEED, WIE, eC-SiAr, etc.)
Maintain and support system integrations between COMOS and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, engineering tools)
Monitor system performance, logs, and interface issues, and perform troubleshooting
Support deployment and release management across Dev, Test, and Production environments
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and proper master data management within COMOS
Perform backup, recovery, and audit support activities
Act as primary point of contact for KT sessions and admin-level clarifications
Support incident resolution and escalation handling for system-level issues
Required Skills & Experience
4–9 years of experience in CAE / engineering application environments
Solid fundamentals in mechanical, process, or electrical engineering
Experience supporting FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and early-stage engineering
Ability to work closely with discipline engineers and SMEs
Hands-on experience with COMOS applications and administration
Understanding of RBAC, system integrations, release management, and troubleshooting
Experience with engineering data management and enterprise engineering system
