Job Description:

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior R&D; Chemist to lead and strengthen our in-house R&D; function. The ideal candidate will possess solid fundamentals in organic chemistry, proven hands-on experience in process development, and the ability to drive innovation, quality improvement, and new product development within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead R&D; activities for dyes, dye intermediates, Pigments and speciality chemicals.
• Develop, optimise, and scale organic synthesis routes for current products.
• Conduct literature surveys, design experiments, interpret analytical data, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, and Management to support plant trials and technology transfer.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of proprietary chemistry,



processes, and formulations.
• Maintain proper records and summaries for each project and provide timely updates to management.

Required Qualifications
• PhD in Organic Chemistry (preferred), or M.Sc. with exceptional hands-on expertise.
• 2–3 years of experience in R&D; or process development.
• Experience in pharmaceutical R&D; or intermediates is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of synthetic organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and analytical interpretation.
• Valuable knowledge of lab-scale to pilot-scale process development.
• Basic knowledge of analytical testing and equipment.
