ITI Apprentices Recruitment & Compliance (Apprentices Act)
Plan annual/monthly intake of ITI Apprentices based on manpower requirements
Source apprentices through ITI institutes (Government & Private).
Manage apprenticeship portals (e.g., NAPS/NATS)
Build and maintain relationships with ITI colleges and placement cells
Screen, shortlist, and conduct selection processes (tests/interviews)
Ensure onboarding within Apprentices Act guidelines
Register contracts of apprenticeship-on-apprenticeship portal
Maintain apprentice engagement and discipline during training
Monitor stipend disbursement as per statutory norms
Ensure compliance with Apprentices Act provisions
Record maintenance & inspections
Grievance Redressal & Conflict Resolution
Design sourcing strategy for Advance Trainees (ex-apprentices / ITI pass-outs)
Conduct recruitment drives, trade tests, and interviews
Define training curriculum in coordination with operations/technical teams
Monitor on-the-job training (OJT) and skill progression
Evaluate trainees periodically for performance and certification
Manage trainee lifecycle (selection, training, deployment, absorption/exit)
Ensure discipline, productivity, and adherence to company standards
Maintain training records and evaluation documentation
Contractual Skilled Workmen Hiring (Fixed-Term Projects)
Identify demand for skilled contractual manpower based on projects
Source candidates with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Validate skill competency through trade tests
Ensure issuance of appointment/contract documents
Track deployment and utilization of workforce at site
Walk-in Recruitment Drives Management
Plan and execute walk-in drives for skilled manpower hiring
Identify locations, select venue, and target candidate pools.
Coordinate for technical panels and HR team.
Develop advertisement strategy (newspaper, social media, local networks)
