Responsibilities:
Perform and assist in orthopaedic surgical procedures including total joint arthroplasty, arthroscopic surgeries, and trauma-related interventions.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of imaging studies (X-rays, MRI, CT scans).
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with joint degeneration, sports injuries, fractures, and post-traumatic conditions.
Collaborate with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient recovery.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency trauma response as required.
Stay current with advancements in orthopaedic techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices through continuous career development.




Support teaching and training activities for medical students and residents under supervision.

Requirements:
MBBS degree with a specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery (MS Orthopaedics or equivalent).
Completion of a structured residency or internship program with documented experience in orthopaedic surgery.
Proficiency in arthroplasty (hip and knee replacements), arthroscopy (knee and shoulder), trauma management (Truma), and knee surgery.
Solid understanding of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols.
Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure settings with attention to detail and precision.
Effective communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness to work in rotating shifts and on-call schedules as per departmental requirements.
