Call for Applications for System Architect (R -05) – ANNAM.AI

Location: ANNAM.AI, Center of Excellence in AI for Agriculture, IIT Ropar ( Onsite preferred; hybrid/remote may also be considered)

Type: Full time | Contractual | Renewable based on performance

Compensation: ₹6 - 10 Lakhs per annum (Based on qualifications and experience)

Performance Incentives: Additional incentives based on performance and outcomes, subject to Governing Board approval

Tenure: Initial appointment for 2 years, extendable up to 5 years

Minimum experience of 3+ years (May be relaxed in the case of exceptional candidates.)

Role Summary

As the System Architect of ANNAM.AI, you will play a key role in supporting the design and implementation of robust technology architectures that power AI-enabled agricultural solutions. Working under the guidance of the Sr. System Architect, you will contribute to system design, testing frameworks, and integration of AI/ML solutions into production settings. This role demands a solid foundation in system architecture, cloud infrastructure,



and software engineering practices, along with the ability to collaborate with AI Engineers, MERN Stack Developers, and other system architects to ensure smooth delivery of technology solutions.

This position is ideal for an early-career technology skilled eager to grow into a Sr. architecture role by working on complex, real-world projects in AI, agriculture, and scalable digital ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
System Architecture Support
Assist in the design and documentation of distributed, scalable, and secure system architectures.
Implement architectural components under the guidance of the Sr. System Architect.
Contribute to the development of APIs, microservices, and modular system components.

AI/ML Integration
Collaborate with AI Engineers to integrate machine learning models into production pipelines.
Support deployment of AI/ML workflows on cloud and edge environments.
